Warrandale Industries

We worked with Warrandale Industries to screen 300 cubic meters of soil in Williams Landing, Melbourne.

The soil contained rock and soil clumps which we cleaned using the 25mm screen. The project took us 5 hours and all of the clean soil was then re-used in their landscaping project. Oversize material was able to be disposed of at clean fill as it contained no building rubble or rubbish.

This process reduced the clean fill disposal quantity from 300 to 55 cubic meters and also eliminated the need to bring to site an additional 245 cubic meters of soil. If the equivalent clean soil had been purchased at $25 per meter and an additional 245 cubic meters had of been disposed of at $10 per meter it would of cost $8,575 without allowing for transport cost, therefore a net saving of around $10,000 was made, after screen hire and operation.
